High School and University Rowing:
Seven Ottawa-area high schools and two universities train and race out of the Ottawa Rowing Club. Members of these competitive programs use ORC equipment and facilities to prepare for regattas. For high schools these include ERA High School regatta (Montreal): Ottawa High School regatta and Canadian Secondary School Rowing Association (CSSRA) regatta (St. Catharines.) Universities compete at the Head of the Rideau (Ottawa), Head of the Trent (Peterborough), Ontario University Championships and selected crews attend the Canadian University Championships.
High school and university rowing is seasonal. Practice days and times are confirmed by the coach(es).
