Ottawa Rowing Club - 2010 Donations
Please consider this opportunity to donate $3 or more to the Athletes' Fund.
The Athletes' Fund was established in 2008 to help offset training, equipment and travel expenses for ORC athletes chosen to compete for Canada in international events. Not all rowers are provided assistance with their expenses - and you all know how little time rowing training leaves for part-time work - so every donation helps.
The fund is created and administered by the athletes of the ORC. This is how donations have been put to work on your behalf:
2009: Glenn Hay and Karen Donaldson, junior women rowers, members of the CanAmMex (Canada, USA, Mexico) team.
2008: Paul Amesbury, member of the Canadian lightweight mens' eight at the World Championships.
